ABSTRACT: La nuova multipolarità dell’ordine mondiale influenza in maniera profonda i rapporti tra religione e sicurezza. Da questa prospettiva, una sicurezza che voglia dirsi davvero “integrata” non può non includere anche la protezione dei diritti fondamentali. La tenuta di tale concezione si regge sulla combinazione dell’antico e del moderno chiamata a tenere conto del ruolo delle religioni e delle nuove tecnologie emergenti.
The new multipolarity of the world order affects in a profoundly the relations between religion and security. From this perspective, a security that wants to call itself truly “integrated” cannot but also include the protection of fundamental rights. The resilience of such a conception rests on the combination of the ancient and the modern called to take into account the role of religions and the new emerging technologies.
